You can create an account in Jarir Bookstore by following the steps below:
• Go to Register/log in page
• Click on “Register”
• Fill in the required fields
• Click register
• A confirmation of registration email will be sent.

Can I edit my account info after registration?
Yes, you can edit and change your account info by logging in and then go to Account Information Page contained in “My account” link
Can I return or exchange what I purchased online?
Yes, items can be exchanged or returned depending on Return and Exchange Policy.
How do I return or exchange a product purchased from website?
All online orders can be exchanged or returned by visiting the nearest Jarir branch (click here to see all Showrooms),

A representative of the shipping company will come to pick the order and the amount will be returned to your account.
What is the duration of your Returns and Exchange for online orders?
Duration depends on the date of receiving the order. You must have the sealed invoice that arrived with the shipment.
What to do in case I received a different order from the one I ordered?
First, we apologize for the inconvenience & do not worry.
According to Jarir’s Returns & Exchange policy, you can return & Exchange the item within 7 days after receiving
The product must be in the same original condition & with the original packaging.
How long does it take to process my return through shipping company?
After receiving the shipment and making sure product is fine, a return request will be sent to the bank within (maximum 2 working days )
Regarding the refund, it’s based on your bank transactions as follows :
Credit card: maximum period of 45 days
Will I get back my money in case shipping company returned my product?
Money will be returned after deducting the shipping charges. And you will be free of charges If the product is contrary to what has been declared the website OR there was a manufacturing defect.
What is Jarir Return & exchange Policy for online orders?
Same policy & procedures will be followed as Showrooms on Ecommerce Order (Website Orders) for returns, exchange, and warranty.
What is the duration of warranty and who is the warranty service provider for products I bought online?
You can know the duration of warranty and the warranty service provider through one of the following:
* invoice which shows the duration of warranty & warranty service provider.
* Visiting warrant section in the product page.
* Entering item number that shown in the invoice in warranty policy page.

Do all Jarir Showrooms provide warranty and maintenance services?
Yes. Only Salmiya Showroomprovides the service for receiving and sending a product to the warranty service provider by our After Sale Service Corner.
Can I cancel an online order from Jarir.com?
Yes, you can cancel your order if it is still in “In Fulfillment”
Cancellation is no longer allowed after this stage
Can I cancel part of my order?
No, you can’t cancel your order through website, but you can do that by calling our call center team
How can I know my order status?
By going to your orders page.
How to refund money if the order was cancelled from technical reasons?
In case order was cancelled from technical reasons:
Amount has not been deducted. It has been only blocked & will be released (unblocked) by the bank within 14 days.
What are the steps to cancel an order?
By going to your orders page.
Select the order you want to cancel (but make sure that order status is “Processing” , “in fulfillment”

Exceptional Cases for Order Processing During Offer Periods:
We assure you that we always work hard to get you all the items you ordered but in some very rare cases during the surge of orders in offer periods, few orders get placed on out-of-stock items. Jarir Bookstore reserves the right to cancel some of (or all) the items in your order depending on item stock availability, keeping in mind that the amount of any canceled item will be refunded to you using the same payment method at the time of purchase.
Can I buy online from jarir website?
Yes you can buy most of our products & will be shipped inside Qatar only
What is the minimum purchase value?
There is no minimum order value for online orders.
How can I know if the product is available online in Jarir Bookstore?
All products that contain “add to cart” button is available to buy online.
Is it safe to buy online?
Buying from Jarir.com is secure and we are taking the utmost safety standards. As our website is protected and documented by Thawte Company.
What are the requirements to buy from Jarir website?

Are all products available online?
No, lots of products are available online. We are working to make them all available.
Can I use my "Gift Certificate" when buying online?
It is not possible at this time; you can use it at any Jarir showrooms

Yes, you can buy eBooks from Jarir Reader application (On Apple & Android) OR from Jarir Reader Website.
What are the requirements to use PayLater ?
PayLater is available to all citizens and residents in Qatar. We only need your mobile number, valid ID and valid payment method.
What are PayLater 's minimum and maximum purchases at Jarir?
The minimum loan value is 200 QAR, and maximum loan value is 25000 QAR.
Is there a limit to how much I can spend with PayLater ?
There is a limit of 25000 QAR. The approval decision when shopping with PayLater can depend on the following:
• Your payment history with PayLater
• Your remaining balance and unpaid orders with PayLater
• The purchase amount of your shopping basket
• Other factors to determine approvals which we’re unable to reveal due to security reasons.
How do I make a payment for the Order?
• The quickest and easiest way is to make payments and check the status of your payments on PayLater ’s app.
• When you use Visa and Mastercard cards to shop with PayLater , your payments are automatically charged based on a payment schedule shown at the time of purchase. Once you’ve successfully made a purchase with PayLater , you will receive an email with your payment schedule for your reference. We’ll also send you reminders of upcoming payments. You can also view your statement, make payments, and manage your account by logging in online or using the PayLater app.

What are the payment methods in PayLater ?
PayLater accepts all major credit cards (Mastercard, Visa).
How does PayLater work?
PayLater lets you split your purchase into 4 equal payments. Here’s how it works:
• Choose PayLater at checkout.
• Link any credit card and get an instant approval.
• Pay only the 1st payment of the purchase upfront and PayLater will remind you about the rest on due dates.
Can I pay before the due date?
If you want to make an earlier payment, log in online or get the app and select the order you want to settle and then choose ‘Payment options’.
You can also view your statement, make payments, and manage your account by logging in online or using the PayLater app.
Can I change the card used to make payment?
You can change cards and manage your account by logging in online the PayLater app.
Follow the steps below to make a payment:
• Log in to the PayLater app.
• You can add the new card from the Home Screen or under Account Profile by Selecting Payment Details
• Click “Add new Credit Card” and follow the steps by providing card details.
• You will receive a notification when the card details are captured successfully.
How will I know when I need to pay?
After receiving your order, PayLater will let you know by email and SMS when your payment is due. You can also see all your upcoming due payments in your PayLater app.
What happens if I miss a payment?
Past due payment will affect your credit history. You might be charged a Late Payment Fee of QAR 50 which is donated by PayLater to charity. Missing payments might also lead to legal action being taken against the customer.
The payment is due, but I haven't received my order.
If you haven’t received your order, kindly reach out to Jarir Support Team and they will support your query. In case of refund this must be issued through Jarir to PayLater to proceed further.
How can I get a refund?
All refunds will be issued according to the Jarir’s policy for returns and cancellations. Once Jarir has registered your return or cancellation with PayLater , your refund will be processed. Here’s what you can expect with your refund:
• If the refunded amount is less than the remaining payments, then the remaining payments will be adjusted accordingly.
• If the refunded amount is more than the remaining payments, then the remaining payments will be canceled, and the balance will be refunded to your credit card used for payment.
How long does a refund take?
The amount is credited back to the card used for the payment process. This will show up on your balance within 10-15 days but could take longer depending on your bank. You will receive a confirmation email about the refund in your registered email and on your account in the PayLater App.

What is this service?
“Collect from Showroom” (also known as “Click & Collect”) is a new service that allows you to order online and collect the order from one of Jarir Bookstore showrooms.
How do I use this service?
You can order by visiting jarir.com or Jarir app and choosing “Collect from Showroom” option on the shipping page during checkout.
Are there any additional charges for this service?
Currently the service is free of charge and there is no additional charge for it. No shipping or delivery charges will be applied regardless of the value of the products in your order. Please note that orders with an extra weight above 15 kg will result in extra charges as per the Shipping & Delivery policies.
What are the available showrooms for collection?
You’ll see the showrooms available to offer this service depending on the availability of the products in your order.
How long does it take for the order to be ready to be collected from the showroom?
You will see the expected date and time of collection (which is usually not more than 4 hours during the showroom’s opening hours) and you should go to collect the order from the showroom after you receive an SMS message indicating the readiness of the order to be collected.
How do I collect the order and what are the collection requirements?
You will receive an SMS with instructions when the order is ready for collection and the message will contain a verification code to confirm your identity at the time of collection. You must display the message and code at “Online Orders Pickup” section at the showroom as well as your National ID or Iqama for the purpose of verifying your identity before collecting the order. Note that the only person authorized to receive the order is the account owner on Jarir Online or whoever you have authorized to collect the order during checkout. If the payment option is “Pay on Collection”, you must go to the cashier to pay first and then go to the “Online Orders Pickup” section to collect your order.
What happens when I don't show up or come late to collect my order?
The order will be held for you at the showroom for 3 days from the first message you received about the order’s readiness for collection. If you do not show up before the end of the specified period, the order will be cancelled.
Can I send someone else to collect the order?
The only person authorized to collect the order is the account owner on Jarir Online or whoever you have authorized to receive the order on your behalf during checkout. No one else will be able tocollect the order except for those who received the SMS containing the verification code for collection.
What is the policy when the order is delayed from the expected time of collection?
A service request will be created to be check on the order and the responsible employee will contact you.
What payment options are available for this service?
You can see the payment options available to you at the last step of your online checkout.
What are the payment methods available for buying online?
You can buy using the following payment methods:
– Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard and American Express).
– Pay at Jarir Showroom.
– Cash on Delivery: Available as a payment method on some orders with certain order amount limits and on certain product types and categories.
Please note that it is possible for some payment methods to not be available for some orders with certain order amount limits and on certain product types and categories, and Jarir reserves the right to determine the availability conditions for all payment methods.
Can I pay using Prepaid credit card?
Yes, you can use prepaid credit card (Visa and Master Card)
Is Cash on Delivery available?
Yes, Cash on Delivery is now available.
Do you deduct amount directly from credit card when order is confirmed?
The amount will be booked initially when you buy and will be deducted when your order is ready for shipment and then a message will be shown online and sent to email.
Can I pay using Purchasing Cards (Cashio, OneCard… etc)?
The service is not available currently.

How long does it take to deliver online orders?
The estimated delivery date can be checked on the product details page or during checkout in the shopping cart page.
In general, we deliver within 1-3 working days from purchase date (major cities) and within 10 days maximum for the rest of cities.
Due to the surge in orders during offer periods, orders delivery could take longer than the unexpected delivery date at the time of purchase. We assure you that we always work hard to prepare, ship, and deliver your orders at the soonest possible.
How much does it take for Delivery Company to pick up the product?
It takes one working day & 3 days maximum
How much does shipping & delivery cost?
The general terms for shipping & delivery cost depend on the value and total weight of the order as follows:
– No Shipping cost for orders with the value of QAR 200 or above.
– For orders below QAR 200, the shipping cost is QAR 20
– There are no extra charges for orders with a total weight of 15 kg or less. For orders with a total weight more than 15 kg, an additional QAR2.00will be added to the shipping & delivery cost for every 1 kg extra.
Example: if the total weight of an order is 20 kg, an additional QAR 10.00 will be added to the shipping & delivery cost.
Can you ship to any city?
Yes, currently we ship to more than to All Qatar Cities which is showing when selecting shipping address OR in the product page to know expected delivery date.
Is it possible to collect more than one order in one shipment?
No, each order is shipped separately with individual invoice & tracking number.
Due to the size of some products, one order can be shipped in more than one package, but all packages will have one order tracking number.
Can I edit my shipping address after order confirmation?
Yes, you can (for orders that yet to be picked up by delivery company)

• When Your Order Page appears”, select the order to know the status.

Why is the shipping company calling me?
Usually, the shipping company doesn’t call you unless the shipping address was not clear (to deliver your order in the right time)
Where can I find the product’s shipping weight?
You can find the product’s shipping weight in the product specification section on the product page.
How is the shipping weight calculated?
The shipping weight is equal to the Shipping Box’s Volumetric Weight or the Product’s Weight, whichever is greater.
* Shipping Box Volumetric Weight = (box length * box width * box height)/ 4000
What are the terms and conditions of Cash on Delivery Service?
– Additional Cash on Delivery service fees of QAR 10 will be charged and added to your order amount when choosing Cash on Delivery service regardless of the number of items contained in your order.
– In case order is not picked up by customer upon delivery, regardless of the reason, Jarir Bookstore reserves the right to not provide this payment method to the customer for future orders.
– In case of returns and order refunds, Return and Exchange Policy still applies with the addition of the following condition: For Cash on Delivery orders, the order items’ amount only will be refunded to the customer’s account as Store Credit on Jarir.com
