How can I sign up for Tamara?
You can sign up to Tamara simply by choosing Tamara as your payment option at checkout or sign up directly through Tamara App.
You will be asked to provide the following information to create a Tamara account:
1. Saudi Mobile number
2. Saudi national ID or Iqama
3. Email
4. Debit or Credit Card
Once you submit this information, an account will be created for you for future purchases.

In case the in case the invoice amount is more than SR 5,000, Customer can pay the remaining amount through:
A- If the transaction in Jarir showroom: Customer can pay the remaining amount using any payment method at the cashier. For example: If the invoice value is SR 7,000, and customer’s approval from Tamara is SR 5,000. The customer will pay SR 5,000 using Tamara, and the the remaining SR 2,000 with any other payment method
B- If the transaction on Jarir.com: The remaining amount will be added to the 1st installment payment. For example: If the invoice value is SR 7,000, and customer’s approval from Tamara is SR 5,000. The customer will pay the remaining SR2,000 with the first installment SR 1250, hence the total 1st payment will be SR 3,250, 2nd installment SR 1,250, 3rd installment SR 1,250, 4th installment SR 1,250,
Why was my order declined?
There are several potential reasons for rejection, including but not limited to:
1.Your card isn’t activated or fit for e-commerce
2. You have prior commitments to your bank/telecommunications company and/or are flagged by Simah
3. You have unpaid bills from Tamara
4. Tamara’s intricate risk system deems the value of your purchase is too high.
5. The value of the item you’re trying to buy exceeds the limit.

What will happen if I didn't pay ?
We impose late fees 25 SAR after the due date then it will increase every 15 days of delay with the same amount. Fees are limited at 150 SAR or 25 % of the order value (the minimum of the two options will apply).
If you were late in making payment more than that, your data will be shared with SIMAH (KSA) – they will act accordingly.
How to cancel and return items ?
You can request a cancellation/return from Jarir.com
Cancellation before order shipment: Once your order is canceled as per Jarir Bookstore policy, we’ll automatically make the adjustment to your account. please note that the update on Tamara app might take a couple of hours to reflect.
Service fee is not refundable 48hours from order date or once the order is dispatched.
If the order value was paid to Tamara, a refund will be initiated within 24 hours of status update. If, however, you are yet to pay, the amount will be automatically adjusted reflecting on the total order value and remaining payments.
How to receive my refunds?
The amount will be automatically refunded once you inform Jarir Bookstore of your refund request. Once Jarir Bookstore accepts the refund, Tamara will refund your bank card directly and update your bill at your Tamara account.
What is the estimated time to get my refund ?
Refund will processed as follows:
1. If the purchase date did not pass 14 days, refund will be processed immediately to mada and credit cards
2. If the purchase date passed 14 days, payment will take up to 5 business days to be refunded (mada cards)
Note: Tamara processes refunds as mentioned above, however it might take up to 21 business days for the amount to get reflected on your account. This depends on the issuer bank and the payment method chosen.
How I can change my payment method?
Login to your at Tamara account, then to the settings page to change your payment method
Where is my order ?
Jarir.com will update you on the Shipping date.
Tamara will update your order’s status accordingly. Once update takes place, you are able to track your order by logging in to your Tamara account.
Note: Buying from Tamara will not affect the delivery process. the delivery process depends on the merchant.
Will a delay fee be charged in case of delayed cancellation or return of orders?
No late fees are charged on refunded or returned items. If you face any issues with your late fees, you can reach out to Tamara support team to wave it.
if I have a pending order at Tamara, Can I purchase another order?
Several pending orders could prevent you from making another. Examples:
1. Your first order at Tamara is unpaid

How do I make a payment?
The quickest and easiest way is to make payments and check the status of your payments on Tabby’s app.
When you use Visa and Mastercard cards to shop with Tabby, your payments are automatically charged based on a payment schedule shown at the time of purchase. Once you’ve successfully made a purchase with Tabby, you will receive an email with your payment schedule for your reference. We’ll also send you reminders of upcoming payments. Late payment will only affect your credit history and no late payment fees will be added.
How can I get a refund?
All refunds will be issued according to the Jarir’s policy for returns and cancellations. Once Jarir has registered your return or cancellation with Tabby, your refund will be processed. Here’s what you can expect with your refund:
If the refunded amount is less than the remaining payments, then the remaining payments will be adjusted accordingly.
If the refunded amount is more than the remaining payments, then the remaining payments will be canceled, and the rest will be refunded.
How long does a refund take?
The amount is returned to the card used for the payment process. This will show up on your balance within 2 – 5 days but could take longer depending on your bank.
What is Madfu ?
Dear customer, this a convenient installment service offered by Jarir bookstore in cooperation with Madfu . You can access it through our website, app, and you can use it to split a purchase into 4 monthly installments.
What are the maximum and minimum purchase limits?

Do you deduct amount directly from credit card when order is confirmed?
The amount will be booked initially when you buy and will be deducted when your order is ready for shipment and then a message will be shown online and sent to email.
What is “Qitaf” payment method?
Qitaf is a loyalty program by the Saudi Telecom Company STC that enables you to exchange points for purchases.
You can subscribe for free with Qitaf and start collecting points by paying our mobile telephone bill or prepaid card.

How can I redeem my Qitaf points on Jarir.com?
During your purchase and when reaching the payment page, select Qitaf from the available payment method options and follow the below steps to redeem your points:
1- Enter the mobile number registered in Qitaf.
2- You will receive a text message from eQitaf containing your points balance and a one-time password (OTP) to redeem your points. If you do not receive a message please click on the resend tab.
Note: 10 Qitaf points= SR 1
3- After filling in the information and clicking on Pay Now, your points will be redeemed and you will receive a confirmation message from eQitaf.
4- If the full amount of your order was paid using Qitaf, you will be redirected to the confirmation page. If only part of the amount was paid with Qitaf points, you will be redirected to the payment page to complete the remaining amount using any of the other payment methods available such as SADAD or Credit Card payments.
What can I do if I don’t have enough Qitaf points to make the full payment needed to complete my order?
You can make a partial payment by redeeming your Qitaf points and completing the remaining amount using other payment methods available on Jarir.com including SADAD or Credit Card payments.
If my purchase was not completed, what will happen to the Qitaf points already redeemed?
If the purchase was not completed, the redeemed Qitaf points will be added as credit to your Jarir.com account to be used for later purchases.
Can I use the amount redeemed online to make a purchase at any Jarir Bookstore Showroom?
At the moment, using Qitaf points which were redeemed online to make a purchase in a Jarir Bookstore showroom is not possible.

How can I get my transaction history for redeemed Qitaf points?
To get your transaction history, visit your “My Account” page on Jarir.com and click on Account Balance or visit STC.com or on the My STC application.
What is validity duration of redeemed points if the redeemed amount was not used?
The balance of redeemed points must be used within one year of redeeming the points.
If the product bought using redeemed points was returned, how can I get a refund on the redeemed Qitaf points?
If the product return was made through Jarir.com, the points will be credited to the Jarir.com account. If the product was returned at a Jarir Bookstore showroom, the redeemed points amount will not be refunded as cash.
What is AppleCare+?
AppleCare+ package provides protection for an unlimited number of cases of cracks, liquids, and accidental accidents (Some conditions excluded) this is for a fixed service fee that varies depending on the type of product. The AppleCare+ package also offers a free battery change service if the “battery health” indicator drops to less than 80% and free technical support for all software faults by calling the Apple Service Center and all these services can be used by any Apple Authorized Service Provider anywhere in the world (international coverage).

The AppleCare+ service does not include cases of theft, any intentional damage, complete damage to the device, or any bends in the device’s body. What is the factory warranty extension service?
All electronic devices in Saudi Arabia come with a factory warranty that covers manufacturing defects and malfunctions for two years, and warranty extension is a service that helps you extend the warranty of your favorite devices and enjoy using them under warranty for a period of up to five years. The service provides you with an additional warranty period of up to three additional years after the expiration of the factory warranty (two years) in order to give you more peace of mind on devices purchased from Jarir. Note that the extension of the factory warranty is subject to a pre-determined subscription fee, and there are no additional fees for repair or replacement operations in the future after paying the extension value.

Business account service
What is the business account service?
It is a new service for companies and institutions that allows creating accounts on Jarir website and including their data, trade names, and tax numbers in the invoices created for online orders, and benefiting from special offers in this sector.
What are the points to be considered regarding this service?
1. You can create a personal account and a business account with the same mobile number, but it is not possible with the same email.
2. You can convert the personal account into a business account.
3. You cannot convert The business account into a personal account.
4. The government agencies verify the validity of the data entered and the tax number entered by the client.
5. The company’s data cannot be modified after creating the business account or after converting the personal account into a business account..
6. Multiple business accounts can be created with the same company data and tax account, but with a different mobile phone and a different email in each account.
7. The company data and tax number will be displayed in the online orders invoices.
8. When transferring a personal account to a business account, the company data and tax number will be displayed on new orders invoices only from the date of transfering the account into a business account.
9. You cannot log in to the business account using the mobile phone, you can only log in through the email registered with the account.
Can I return or exchange what I purchased online?
Yes, items can be exchanged or returned depending on Return and Exchange Policy.
How do I return or exchange a product purchased from website?

Can I decide to repair or replace the device?
The type of service, whether (repair or replacement), is determined by the service provider according to the condition of the device and the manufacturer’s recommendations. Device accessories are not included in the TPS service, so please keep and do not hand over any accessory associated with the device (box, documents, data cable, memory card, SIM card, charger, battery, pen/stylus, PS controller, etc.) to Jarir.
What happens if the same device is not available?
If an identical device is not available for replacement, the customer will be notified to choose a device in another color or a device with specifications similar to the original device will be provided.
What is value protection from the total protection service?
Value Protection is a new additional feature of Jarir’s total protection service for subscribers to the Platinum Packages 4 and 5 and the Diamond Package only for smartphones and tablets.
Total Protection Service customers whose smartphones and tablets have not been exposed to accidental malfunctions and have not benefited from repair and replacement services can benefit from this new feature, as the value of your smartphone or tablet purchase will be protected by 50%, offered as a discount when you want to upgrade your smartphone or tablet for a new device within 13 months from the date of purchase.
When is a smartphone or tablet eligible for an upgrade?
The device must be in excellent condition and must not have undergone any repair or replacement due to accidental damage not covered by the warranty.
All accounts on the device must be disabled such as Google Account/iCloud/Find My iPhone.
What are the criteria for accepting devices for the value protection service?
- The device is not bent, not damaged, and the battery is not swollen.
- The back cover of the device is in good condition (no problem with scratches or light dings).

Terms and conditions of the "Protect Now and Pay Later" package:
• The package allows customers to benefit from comprehensive protection service for electronic devices for a period of two months. The service is available through the Buy Now, Pay Later service.
• The coverage period of the package is two months, starting from the date of the purchase invoice.
• The service cannot be exchanged or refunded after payment.
• Number of requests: One repair request or one replacement request.
• The maintenance request can be used once for each invoice.
• Excluded from “Accident Protection” coverage are the following products: digital products, games, books, school supplies, and office supplies.
